LGBCE proposals for Manchester's new council ward boundaries

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England is asking people across Manchester to comment on its draft proposals for new council ward boundaries. An eight-week public consultation on the recommendations begins today and will end on 23 January 2017. The consultation is open to anyone who wants to have their say on new council wards, ward boundaries and ward names across Manchester.

The recommendations, detailed interactive maps and further information is available from the Commission’s dedicated web page. 

A copy of the documents related to these proposals for Manchester can be inspected in Room 134 in the Town Hall on weekdays between 9am - 4pm. 

The Commission wants to hear as much evidence as possible in order to develop final recommendations for Manchester.
