Miles Platting Neighbourhood Private Finance Initiative (PFI)

The partner organisation chosen to develop the neighbourhood plan for Miles Platting and parts of Ancoats and Collyhurst, and to carry out the multi-million pound improvements that will massively regenerate the area is the Renaissance Consortium (external website).

The Renaissance Consortium is a company specially set up to deliver the Miles Platting Neighbourhood PFI project. Renaissance brings together a number of organisations with a wide range of skills and a wealth of experience:

• Adactus (formerly Family Housing Association): a large local housing association managing around 11,000 homes across the north west
• Lovell: a national social housing contractor and developer.
• Investors in the community (IIC): a specialist organisation with experience of investment in private/public improvement schemes.
