Home and neighbourhood improvements
Through the PFI, Renaissance Consortium are improving more than 1,500 council homes.
By summer 2011 every home will be brought up to the same high standard; with new kitchens, bathrooms, rewiring, new windows or other improvements where they're needed. People in multi-storey blocks will get new insulation, lifts and modernised hallways too.
When all the improvements have been done, Renaissance will maintain the homes to a very high standard over the full 30 years of the scheme.
