Council Tax for a Band B property in Manchester from 1 April 2008 to 31 March 2009 is £989.08.
The charge for 45 days from 1 April 2008 to 15 May 2008 is worked out as follows. . .
£989.08 (yearly Council Tax amount) รท 365 (days in the year) X 45 (days lived in the property) = £112.68 (amount due).
