Have your circumstances changed?
It is important to tell us of any change in your circumstance straight away.
Changes you must tell us about include:
- if someone comes to stay with you for a period of time
- if someone moves out. If this means that you now live alone and are over 18 you may be entitled to a Single Person Discount.
- if you change your name due to marriage or divorce
- if your children leave school
- if someone in your household dies
You can fill in the online form to let us know about any changes to your circumstances.
Moving home?
You need to let us know when you move to a new home. This is so you do not pay too much Council Tax for your old home and you pay the right amount for your new home, we may need to transfer your Council Tax account from your old address to your new one.
