We aim to improve outcomes for our families by providing them with a holistic service that addresses many, complex needs. The information to support our families is fragmented; this is where the Research and Intelligence Database is used. To build a database giving access to joined up information will enable frontline staff to directly access data for particular cases as and when required.
We will roll out access to the database with the aim to enhance case intelligence, accuracy and efficiency. The database will also be used for research and evolution purposes. The intention is not to replace existing case management processes, but rather support officers towards the right discussions with our families and partners. The database will not exclusively be the source of information for which officers make decisions; these decisions will still be driven by the needs of families themselves.
