Crime, antisocial behaviour & nuisance Domestic abuse - help and support

Getting the abusive person out

We can support you to take legal action to stop the abusive person - and to get them out of your home.

You can also get support and help from other organisations to take legal action to remove the person, and keep them away.

Helping with legal action

Our 'domestic violence outreach' team can help you through legal action against the abusive person by providing support, listening to your concerns, explaining proceedings, discussing choices and helping you deal with the police or solicitors.

They can also advise you about a 'safety plan' - for example having somewhere safe to stay during legal action.
