Published Equality Impact Assessments (EIAs)
As a Council, we're required to publish evidence of any equality analysis that we've undertaken to assess the affect on equality of our functions. In Manchester, we've decided to extend our Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) framework to do this. Below are our published EIAs, split by our four Directorates. Budget-related Consultation and EIAs
Government guidelines state that the Council has a statutory duty to consult "persons or bodies appearing to it to be representative of persons subject to non-domestic rates" about budget proposals for each upcoming financial year. This consultation enables residents, staff, businesses and other stakeholders to voice their thoughts on budget proposals and other changes may have an impact on the city.
Details of the latest consultations and surveys are published on the Council's internet pages.
Specific budget consultations contain a summary of the proposals, and links to supporting documents including the full committee reports, before leading into a series of questions for residents to complete about the proposed changes. The Agendas, Reports and Minutes page of the Council's website provides access to committee reports.
