Animal health and agriculture

We are responsible for maintaining standards in all aspect of animal health, welfare, disease control and agriculture. 

Trading Standards are responsible for ensuring animal feed and ferilisers are of a satisfactory quality and safe to use.   They also ensure that  contingeny plans for foot and mouth, rabies, anthrax and other diseases are in place.
