Chorlton Book Festival is Back!

Returning for its eleventh year, the Chorlton Book Festival offers an exciting selection of events, author visits and workshops, to please everyone. Check out what's on this year and clear your diaries from the 20 to 28 November.

Attractions include:

  • award winning author Jenn Ashworth
  • an under-5s Storytime
  • a Coding Club workshop for teenagers
  • a fascinating local history walk from Andrew Simpson
  • the ever popular Beech Pub Quiz.

Whatever your age and interest, with 16 events Chorlton is the place to be for 9 days this November.  So come and join us.

Readers, writers and would-be writers are out in force in South Manchester for some book-related action at the eleventh Chorlton Book Festival. All the featured guests have Chorlton connections, which makes M21 arguably the City's most literary suburb. 

Most events are free and at Chorlton Library unless stated. For those events where booking is advised, this can be done at Chorlton Library or by calling 0161 227 3700.
