This market is based in the East of Manchester and houses both our wholesale food market and the popular Sunday market and car boot sale.

Location

The market is held at New Smithfield Wholesale Market, Ashton Old Road in Openshaw. Located 2½ miles east of the city centre on the Ashton Old Road (A635) the market is easy to find and has excellent transport links to all major roads and motorways.

Opening Times

The market is held Monday to Saturday, 2.30am to 1pm, for fruit and vegetables, flowers, fish and poultry. The market is open on Sundays for the Sunday Market Car and Boot.
