Want to be a Market Trader?
What is a casual registration agreement?
Definition:
A casual registration agreement is a trader registration with Manchester Markets confirming that you are eligible to trade at the retail markets.
The agreement includes a registration card that confirms you are registered with Manchester Markets and allows you to attend the retail markets to apply for a daily casual trading space. The registration card must be produced at the market each time you attend.
You can cancel the agreement at any time by providing written notice to Manchester Markets.
You must attend the market office before the daily allocation time to register your interest in trading on that day. The criteria used to allocate daily spaces are:
· the number and location of the vacancy
· the type of goods and services you want to sell
· the number of trading spaces you require
· the number of times you have previously attended the market
· the balance of trades at the market (so as maintain a balance of supply and demand)
