Submitting an application for approval as a venue for civil marriages and civil partnerships. (non-religious buildings)
Applications can be submitted on-line or in hard copy (paper based).
A non-returnable fee of £900.00 is payable for a three year approval (grant or renewal)

Hard copy application for approval
If you are submitting a paper based application for approval as a venue for civil marriages and civil partnerships, you will need to submit the following:
- a completed application for an approved premises licence
- three plans of the premises indicating the room(s) to be licensed
- the required fee
Payment
- A non returnable fee of £900.00 is payable for a three year approval (grant or renewal).
- Payment may be made by cash or a cheque made payable to Manchester City Council.
- Debit and Credit Cards are also accepted by telephone (except American Express and Diners Card).
