On-Street Parking
Parking in the city centre
We are responsible for ensuring that parking provision in the city centre is managed, and that there is a regular turnover of parking spaces to enable residents, shoppers, visitors and workers access to the city.
By on-street parking we mean the pay and display parking bays available throughout the city centre.
Those people who break parking regulations in Manchester without justification, will be liable to receive a penalty charge notice.
Up to (and including) Sunday 23 October 2011 on-street parking operates in the city centre between 8:00-18:00 Monday-Saturday. Pay & Display does not operate on Sundays or Bank Holidays unless otherwise stated.
From (and including) Monday 24 October 2011 on-street parking operates in the city centre between 8:00-20:00 Monday-Sunday. Pay & Display does not operate on Bank Holidays unless otherwise stated.
This section is for on-street parking bays only. For information about parking for more than 3 hours, please see the Off-Street Parking information.
