Parking Tickets
Penalty Charge Notice - how to pay or appeal.
Pay your parking ticket online >
A Civil Enforcement Officer will issue a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN / parking ticket) when a vehicle has parked in contravention of the parking regulations.
The registered owner not the driver is legally responsible for payments or appeals against parking tickets. Therefore the registered owner of the vehicle should write to us to contest any parking tickets that the vehicle receives if they so choose.
The current cost of a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN / parking ticket) depends on the contravention. Please see our Parking Contravention Codes page for further information. The charge is reduced by 50% if paid within 14 days of the date of issue.
If the ticket remains unpaid, the outstanding value may increase over time.
