Entry to the park and gardens is free. There is a small car park off Millgate Lane for a very limited number of cars, including two disabled bays.
Public transport: There is a train station in East Didsbury within walking distance. Buses run past the park on Wilmslow Road.
Most of the gardens are wheelchair accessible. The rockery has seen improvements in recent years although is still not completely accessible.
