We were keen to ensure that the local community was at the heart of the bid and through a programme of community consultation sought people's views on the physical restoration of the historic Park and the activities they would like to see.

The People's Panel
One way to have an input into the regeneration of the Park is to join the People's Panel. This is an email network which we have been using to consult on a variety of questions and themes relating to the Park, such as plans for the buildings and infrastructure, landscape and activities. It is also a way of finding out the latest news and volunteer opportunities.
Nearly three hundred people have joined the People's Panel so far. If you would like to be added to the list, please email alex.park@manchester.gov.uk
Joining the Panel is a unique opportunity to have an input into the proposals for the regeneration of the Park without taking up too much of your time.
We will ask you some basic details about yourself and also what your particular areas of interest might be, such as play facilities, sports or the natural environment. We won't share your details with anyone else.
