How to get your park or cemetery nominated?
There are various ways to get involved in the Green Flag Award Scheme.
Once you have joined a Friends Group or have started one up, you will be able to get support from us to create a management plan for the area which will in turn contribute towards the Green Flag application process.
Green Flag applications are usually due by the end of January and inspection dates can be anything around April / May.
The award scheme is annual so even if you miss the deadlines for one year you can always apply the next.
