How do you submit an Official Local Land Charge Search to us?
Official Local Authority Land Charge Search
This is carried out by a local authority. You can submit official search requests to us using the following methods.
If you are an account holder simply email a copy of the search request forms (LLC1 / Con29 / Con29O) along with an Ordnance Survey plan outlining the area to be searched in red.
The search report will be returned by email as an Adobe PDF document and will include a payment notification to be settled within 14 working days

DX is an alternative secure mail delivery service to Royal Mail, with an overnight delivery. Send 1 copy of the search request forms (LLC1/Con29/ Con29O) along with an Ordnance Survey plan outlining the area to be searched in red to:

Ways to pay
You can pay for your Official Local Authority Search report in one of the following ways:
- Cheque – made out to Manchester City Council
- Bank Automated Clearing System (BACS) – email us for more information if you wish to pay by this method or ensure you have indicated this on your search
Cancellation of searches
Our policy is not to cancel searches once entered into our computerised system due to the quick turnaround of local searches.
