Road safety cycle and pedestrian training

Cycle Training

Each year children in Manchester schools are offered on road cycle training organised by the road safety team.

The training offered is the new national standard Bikeability scheme level 2.

This new scheme is for children aged 9 years and over who can already ride a bike, it consists of four 2 hour sessions of on road training.

Schools will be contacted by our service provider, Bikeright! when courses become available.

Should training be required for young children or adults, training providers can be found on the Bikeability website.
