Drinking and Driving
The Risks of Drinking and Driving
Drivers should be aware that it takes less than you might think for your driving to be impaired by alcohol, and you risk endangering the lives to both motorists and other people.
It is essential that motorists remember that if they are going to drink, they should either leave their car at home or get someone else to drive. You can't calculate your own drink/drive limit and the only safe way is not to drink and drive.
Any amount of alcohol affects your ability to drive safely as your reaction times are impaired and you're unable to judge speed and distances. The only safe option is NOT to drink if you plan to drive.
People who drive at twice the current legal alcohol limit are at least 50 times more likely to be involved in a fatal car crash. THINK! Don't be one of them.
