Commercial waste disposal for businesses
Any waste businesses produce is classed as commercial waste. Businesses have legal obligations about storing and disposing of rubbish from premises, called 'duty of care'.
Businesses should have their own arrangements for commercial waste and should not be disposing of rubbish in domestic, public bins or litter bins, they should also keep their shop fronts clean. We don't offer commercial waste collections.
If there are problems with the storage and disposal of waste from a business, or litter on shop frontages, we can take action to ensure the business complies with the law.
Businesses are not allowed to burn commercial waste, not even cardboard.
