Yellow Pages recycling in Manchester schools
A number of schools in Manchester took part in this year's Yellow Woods Challenge. It's a simple,educational and fun recycling scheme for schools, run by The Yell Group and The Woodland Trust, in partnership with Manchester City Council.
Children just had to bring the front cover of any old Yellow Pages directories into school (the rest of the directory can then be recycled) to add to the collection: the schools with the most per pupil (regionally and nationally) win some fabulous cash prizes.
