School Standards Grant (Personalisation) 2010-2011
The School Standards Grant (Personalisation) is a direct grant from the DCSF to schools. The Local Authority co-ordinates the allocations and payments into each school's bank account, but the formula for distribution is set by the DCSF.
School Standards Grant (Personalisation) 2010-2011 will be paid under Section 14 of the Education Act 2002, and in accordance with Section 16 of that Act the Secretary of State lays down the following terms and conditions on which assistance is given in relation to the School Standards Grant Personalisation (SSGP) payable to the Authority for the financial year beginning 1 April 2010.
Local Authorities should allocate sums to each school they maintain on the formula set out below.
SCHOOL STANDARDS GRANT PERSONALISATION (SSGP)
The funding is to be allocated to each maintained school* :

on a unit of funding per pupil
-
on a unit of funding for each pupil eligible for (FSM)
-
on a unit of funding for each unit of low prior attainment.
