Manchester Youth Fund Commissioning Round 2
Youth Fund Commisioning Process - Round 2
Following the first round of commissioning in July 2011, during which Manchester City Council commissioned youth related activities from voluntary sector organisations within the city for the period 1 August 2011 to 31 March 2013.
We are now seeking to commission further services for young people aged 10-19 for the period of 1 April 2012 to 31 March 2013. The second round of funding is being jointly commissioned by Neighbourhood Services and Children's Services as part of the jointly agreed Valuing Young People Strategy.
As in round one the purpose of the fund is to make sure that vulnerable young people (aged 10-19) from Manchester (and those for whom the City acts as corporate parent) have access to positive targeted activities which will best meet their needs in a safe environment.
We are looking to contract with voluntary and community providers of youth provision who are well placed to work with young people in areas of most need across the City.
