Manchester Youth Fund Commissioning
Youth Fund Commisioning Process
Manchester City Council, as part of Children's Services and Neighbourhood Services Valuing Young People Strategy, are making the Youth Fund available to bring in youth related activities for young people aged 13 to 19 from voluntary sector organisations within the city between 1 August 2011 and 31 March 2013.
The fund is to make sure that Manchester's (and for those who the city acts as a corporate parent) vulnerable young people (aged 13-19) who are furthest away from the labour market, have access to positive targeted activities which will best meet their needs in a safe environment.
We are looking to contract with voluntary and community providers of youth provision who are well placed to work with young people in areas of most need across the City. We will consider bids with a combination of premises and street based responses.
