About our news releases
The news we release concerns issues that affect everyone who lives, works and invests in Manchester and reflect the current position on their content at the time of issue. The releases are sent electronically to newspapers and broadcast media to use in their news bulletins. We are happy for you to reproduce the contents of the releases in your own publications if you wish.

All enquiries from journalists contacting Council officers are referred to the press office. Press releases and photo opportunities are also co-ordinated through the press office rather than by individual officers.
