Financial help for those going to 6th form or college
Adult Learning Grant (ALG)
The new bursary scheme is being introduced from September 2011. This will replace Education Maintenance Allowance for 16 - 19 year olds.
The other main sources of financial help is through the Government's new bursary scheme Adult Learning Grant (ALG).
If you are unable to get an EMA or ALG you may still be able to get assistance through Learner Support Funds.
