National Minimum Data Set for Social Care Providers

Standard information about social care providers

The National Minimum Data Set for social care (NMDS-SC) is an agreed set of questions designed to ensure that every social care employer provides information on their workforce in a consistent format across the country.

The NMDS-SC data will influence future funding for Manchester including money for training programmes.

For all organisations accessing NVQ awards, it is a condition that partners have completed the National Minimum Data Set for Social Care establishment data.

In addition partners who hold a National Minimum Data Set - Social Care reference number must fully update their establishment data before accessing training.

Gillian McCormack, Skills for Care Sub Regional Coordinator for the GM region can offer advice and support to providers to complete the NMDS. She can be contacted by email: Gillian.McCormack@skillsforcare.org.uk

All relevant updated Skills for Care information could be found on the Skills for Care website.
