Manchester's number one public golf facility is open to the public, seven days a week.
Heaton Park Golf Centre was voted 'Best Municipal Course 2005' by readers of Golfpunk magazine. The centre is located at the Middleton Road entrance to Heaton Park.

Heaton Park Golf Club
Since 1912 Heaton Park Golf Club has been based at the Championship course. Membership is open to all and provides a low cost way of obtaining an official club handicap. The club runs social events and regular competitions including the Manchester Municipal Challenge trophy - a historic golf competition open to all golfers, with or without handicaps.
