The Electoral Register

The edited register is available for sale and can be used for any legal purpose. It is kept separately from the full electoral register, but is compiled from the details submitted to us by householders via their electoral registration forms.

The edited register can be sold to commercial companies and used for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be included on the edited register, please tick the relevant box on your registration form.

If you are filling out a registration form for the household, please make sure that you ask each person named on the form whether they want to be on the edited register or not.

Sharing data

We recognises that information needs to be treated securely and we therefore adhere to security guidance for the safe transfer of data.
