We will investigate instances of waste dumped on land. Depending on the type of waste reported, these will be dealt with differently due to risk to health.
Dumped rubbish is illegal, dangerous and can bring down the perception of your neighbourhood
What you can do
If it is suspected that waste dumped is chemical or a toxic substance contact us and we will investigate.
What we can do

if the rubbish is on the public highways or on public open land, we will remove it; and

if the rubbish is on private land, will try to contact the owner before any action can be taken. We cannot guarantee how long it will take for rubbish on private land to be moved.
