Environmental land search

We undertake environmental searches and provide information on environmental issues for sites within the Manchester City Council boundary.

We are able to provide information on the following environmental searches:

• Contaminated Land Section records of contamination issues at the site and at land adjacent to the site;
• Landfill sites within 250 metres;
• Environmental Protection Act 1990 Part IIA, sites determined to be statutory contaminated land within 250 metres;
• Environmental Protection Act 1990, Statutory Nuisance Notices in force within 100 metres;  
• Environmental Permitting Regulations ( England and Wales ) 2010, Waste Management Licences within 250 metres;  
• Environmental Permitting Regulations ( England and Wales ) 2010, Part A Permitted Processes within 250 metres;  
• Environmental Permitting Regulations ( England and Wales ) 2010, Part B Permitted Processes within 250 metres; 
• Environmental Permitting Regulations ( England and Wales ) 2010, Part A(2) Permitted Processes within 250 metres;  
• Private Water Supplies Regulations 1991, registered abstractions within 2000 metres;  
• Radioactive Substances Act 1993, current registrations at or adjacent to the site.
