Dog control orders
Do I have to clean up after my dog?
Yes. You must pick up any faeces left by your dog(s) at all times. This applies to the whole of the city of Manchester .
For your convenience, Manchester's parks have bins for dog mess, making it easy for you to dispose of your dog's waste. It is important to toilet train your dog and you will find further information within our tips and pointers section.
Use a small bag, available from most supermarkets, to collect your dog's faeces and dispose of it in a nearby dog bin. As long as the bag is tied you can use an ordinary bin if there's no special one nearby.
