In 1956 the City of Manchester Quarter Sessions and Assize Court were replaced by the Crown Court.

We hold calendars of prisoners for the Crown Court of Manchester (two volumes) 1956 to 1960 (ref GB127.M545). This can be viewed in our Central Library search room, please make an appointment (with at least one day notice).
