Panora Negatives
The Greater Manchester County Record Office holds a collection of approximately 4,500 negatives taken by a company called Panora, which specialised in panoramic photographs of school groups. Photographs were taken of schools throughout the country from 1968 to 1985.
If you wish to know whether photographs of your school are available, please email archiveslocalstudies@manchester.gov.uk, and we can arrange for the negative to be scanned and digitised. A full list of negatives is available on our online catalogue. Alternatively you can search for the school name.
Copies are available for £37, including post and packing. Please make cheques payable to "Greater Manchester County Record Office". Photographs will be sent within 28 days of receipt of orders.
