About Children's Services

Manchester Library and Information Service provides a wide range of services to children, young people and their carers through a network of 22 libraries across the city, including City Library and One First Street.

All libraries have collections of books for children from board books and picture books for the very young, to stories and information books, through to books for teenagers and graphic novels.

Sharing books from an early age feeds the imagination, encourages the enjoyment of reading and forms the foundation of literacy
