Sky Ride Local

Spring into Sky Ride Local

Sky Ride Local is back in Manchester.  It's kicking off in May with some fantastic local cycle rides, so whether you want to explore the water parks with the family or fancy a 28 mile tour of the Pennines, there's something for everyone.

If you missed it last year, Sky Ride Local is small group cycle rides designed to get everyone cycling regularly in a fun and informal way. These are free rides, led by friendly British Cycling trained ride leaders, who will guide you along the route, and provide tips and advice on cycle safety and skills.

Rides vary in levels, from beginners to more experienced cyclists, so you can pick a level to suit your skills and enjoyment. Whatever level you choose, you'll be riding on safe routes, with your ride leaders. And if you haven't dusted off your bike for a while, they'll happily give it a quick check before you head off.

So how do you get involved?

There is a brilliant new website up and running, so getting on a Sky Ride couldn't be easier.  Just check out the Sky Ride website (external site) to see what's happening around Manchester in May and get registered.

And there's loads more to come in the next few weeks so keep checking the website for the latest rides.
