Manchester City Council's Fairtrade Policy
This is the Fairtrade resolution, passed by Manchester City Council on 4 February 2004. A full Council passed the resolution unanimously at this meeting.

Motion made and seconded:
Council resolves to take the lead in achieving Fair Trade City for Manchester, by amongst other things:
- Seeking to make Fair Trade products available in its catering outlets, vending machines, etc.
- Promoting awareness of Fair Trade products in its publications, and
- Allocating responsibility for Fair Trade within the strategic management plan.
