To Become a Fairtrade Friendly

Fairtrade products need to be freely available in and around Manchester to achieve Fairtrade city status, so the more of you that come on board the quicker Manchester can become a Fairtrade City.

To become Fairtrade Friendly you can:

• Stock two or more Fairtrade products*
• Advertise that you stock Fairtrade, (Poster and leaflet packs are available from MCC)*
• Host an awareness-raising event in your store
• Exclusively use Fairtrade tea and coffee for meetings
• Have Fairtrade alternatives in vending machines
• Host a taste testing session

Once you have achieved this you will be a Fairtrade Friendly retailer and we can put you in our directory, which will be available to Manchester residents both on the web, and in hard copy.
