We operate an appointments-only service for Benefits. For enquiries, including telephone advice, please ring 0161 234 5003, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. 

You can drop-off documents and post supporting evidence for your claim here - we will return originals to you by post. We do not copy or validate documents here.

Getting evidence checked and copied

These libraries will check and copy your evidence:

  • Central and East Manchester - Beswick Library and Longsight Library.
  • North Manchester - Abraham Moss Library; Avenue Library; Newton Heath Library and North City Library.
  • South Manchester - Chorlton Library; Didsbury Library; Forum Library and Withington Library.

If you live in social housing

Some social landlords can check and copy your evidence. Check with your landlord if they can do this for you.
