Water Street: Strategic Regeneration Framework (November 2016)

In July 2016, Manchester City Council endorsed in principle an update on the draft  Strategic Regeneration Framework (SRF) to help guide the regeneration of the Water Street area. The Executive Committee requested that the Chief Executive undertake a public consultation exercise with local stakeholders on this documents, and report the outcome to the Executive Committee in due course.

Document Summary

The updated Water Street SRF proposals have been developed to ensure that they will complement the city's wider economic priorities and regeneration strategy for the city centre. In addition, the vision and objectives for the SRF have been aligned with strategic policy considerations.

All comments from people wishing to take part in this public consultation must be received by Friday 16 December 2016, so that all comments can be included in a report to the Executive Committee. The City Council will continue to accept comments after this date and prior to the Executive meeting on the 11th January 2017. Please include your post code.
