The Co-operative Academy of Manchester specialises in offering students a firm grounding in the world finance and business. The Academy replaced Plant Hill High School and is sponsored by The Co-operative Group, Manchester City Council and The Manchester College.

The Academy provides 900 places for 11-16 year olds. 

The Academy will also provide an additional 120 places for 16-18 year olds.
