Reservations

Library members can reserve books and audio-visual materials from the online library catalogue.

Items may be reserved from any of our libraries and made available to collect at your local library.

Reservations are free for reservable stock items (most lending titles).

Normally, up to eight reservations may be held at one time.

Unavailable items, such as out-of-print titles, should be reserved by asking a member of staff at your local library. This includes periodical articles.

There is a charge of £3 for this service which is paid when the request is placed. This charge is non-refundable.

We will make every effort to find the item you require but satisfaction of all requests is subject to availability.

Stock suggestions are welcome (Make a stock suggestion).

For more information on reservations please contact Vivienne Quigley: telephone 0161 234 1999; email v.quigley@manchester.gov.uk.
