Membership is free
No membership is needed to use library materials within the library, or for services like photocopying

CDs (music) - 50p per week *
Company Information - prices for company information, trade mark searches, marketing information and mailing lists on application from the Business Information Service
DVDs and Blu-ray (feature films) - £2 for two days (new titles). All other DVDs and Blu-ray £1 per week
Music sets - prices and membership requirements on application in the Music Library
Playsets - £5 per set for 13 weeks
VCDs (feature films) in Chinese/Vietnamese - £1 per week *

* These items can be borrowed free of charge by visually impaired people

Coin-operated self-service machines - black & white copies: A4 - 10p per sheet, A3 - 20p per sheet
Staff-assisted service - black & white copies: A4 - 15p per sheet, A3 - 25p per sheet, A2 - £1 per sheet (£2.50 for commercial use)
Colour copies: A4 - 40p per sheet, A3 - 60p per sheet
Print-outs from the Internet - 20p per black and white sheet, 50p per colour sheet
Self-service microfilm reader printing - 80p per A3 sheet, 50p per A4 sheet
Reproduction fees for commercial publications - prices on application

Local community groups - free
When the library is open - £10 per hour (regional or national groups), £20 per hour (commercial use)
When the library is closed - £20 per hour (regional or national groups), £30 per hour (commercial use)

Library Members - free for up to one hour, then £1.50 for a second hour (or any part thereof) each day.
Library Members aged over 60 - free for up to two hours a day.
Library Non-members, £1.50 for up to one hour, plus £1.50 for second hour (or any part thereof)

Availability of library computers cannot be guaranteed and advanced booking is advised. Ask our staff.
