New Library at Brooklands
Brooklands Library – opened 11 October
A brand new library has openend at Brooklands and it's one of the best in the city: a purpose-built space where everything is new, from customer self-service to computers and fast Internet access.
Browse the new books and films, relax with the papers or a magazine. Bring the family and enjoy bright and welcoming spaces for all ages, or get online - free for library members for up to an hour a day (2 hours for over 60s). There will be storytimes for even the tiniest members and an after-school homework club, open to all local children aged eight and over.
The library shares its home with the new Manchester Health Academy, but its doors are open to the whole community and everyone is welcome. If you have a Manchester library ticket then you're already a member at this fantastic new library - if not joining is free, whoever you are, wherever you live.
