Bike Week

Manchester always takes part in national Bike Week and this year's no exception.

We've been working with partners like I Bike Manchester and Bikeright to bring you events such as a family-friendly, cycle fun-day at Platt Fields Park on Saturday 18 June, and an afternoon of cycling-style, fashion and accessories as the Bike Fabulous team arrive at the Manchester Arndale the following Saturday 25 June.

For cycling commuters there's a Bike Morning on Friday 24 June from 8 - 10.30am in Exchange Square, off Corporation Street, where cyclists can claim a free coffee and cake, get bike maintenance advice and tips from Dr Bike, plus lots of cycling info and other freebies. And if you'd like to try cycling to work but are wary of going it alone, why not join one of the Bike Friday organised group rides? Check the routes and times at http://www.bikefriday.org/.
