Volunteer mediators

Want to be a mediator?

Are you a good communicator? Want to do something rewarding in your spare time? You could be a volunteer mediator, and make a real difference to your community.

Mediators help neighbours find solutions to their disputes. They work in pairs, and deal with common problems like noise, children's behaviour, and disputes about parking, pets or fences.

We offer excellent training, the chance to develop your skills and the satisfaction of making a real difference in your community.

What do we want from you?

You need to complete our eight-day skills training course, and then work on three real cases with an experienced mediator.

When you're a volunteer mediator you'll be willing to take on at least five cases per year, and take part in our package of additional training and supervision sessions to maintain and enhance your skills.

Interested?

Have a look at the role of a mediator, and check out the next training course. Then, send us an online application form.
