We provide a diverse range of services, from education, social services, housing to highways, refuse collection and horticulture. This means we can offer you a wide range of work placement opportunities and experience to acquire a positive attitude and key skills that all employers are looking for.
Manchester City Council actively supports and promotes high quality placements of students for work experience.
However, to qualify for a work placement, you need meet each of the following criteria:
- Be aged between 14 to 16
- Be a Manchester resident (Household pay Council Tax to Manchester City Council
- Go to a Manchester school
