Maintenance and repair of street furniture
We are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the city's street furniture. This includes problems caused by accidents, vandalism and general wear and tear, to report graffiti use this form.
We also look after street furniture within public open spaces like fountains and statues.
Street furniture are items like benches / seats, guard rails and cycle racks.
What you can do
If you see a problem with street furniture then report this to us, you will need the following information:

the location;

type of street furniture; and
-
description.
If the damage relates to a street litter bin issue, report this to us, using this form.
What we can do
If the issue is dangerous we will attend and make safe as quick as possible. Otherwise an officer will attend and decide what further action is required. Repairs will be fixed in order of priority i.e. busy main routes will take priority over a quite residential street.
What don't we do
It is not our responsibility to maintain the following types of street furniture. Please contact the relevant company in the first instance:
